Who Makes that Canterbury Sprinkler System?

September 19, 2014 Phil Gatehouse

If you’ve seen our black sprinkler pods in paddocks, on new subdivisions and even in the very centre of the city recently, you might well be asking that question – who makes those sprinkler systems in Canterbury?

With the introduction of further regulations around developers keeping dust down and preventing soil erosion on site, RX’s K-Line sprinkler irrigation has been in more demand than ever before, including playing a critical role in the grassing of Christchurch’s ‘green frame’.

A drive in the countryside during a dryish winter (as this year in the South Island) and throughout the summer months will also be punctuated by the site of K-Line pods dotted across paddocks.

This summer, if you are driving through the Waitaki basin towards the Southern Lakes, you are likely to start seeing the new blue G-Set pods – on flat land and hillsides, keeping the grass green and growing.

Once again, this is a product from RX Plastics, and part of the K-Line irrigation family.
